"Camp Nebagamon is the best place I have been during the summer. I have been to China and Japan, traveled across the U.S, and been to a ton of other neat places. I would give all of those trips up for four weeks of Camp Nebagamon."

"Because of the tradition established at Nebagamon, I have been able to connect with campers from three years ago, ten years ago, thirty years ago, and even seventy-eight years ago. Tradition gives power to the memories that all campers hold in their hearts long after their departure from those summer days."

"I had heard about how at Nebagamon everyone was family, and when I stepped off of the bus, I knew it was true. By dinner, everyone in the cabin knew each other and it seemed as if there were familiar bonds connecting all of us. Everyone was so friendly. My counselors were some of the greatest people I had ever met, and already I knew that this was my home. Going to camp was incredibly easy and all of the wonderful people helped to make it so."

"The tripping program is one of my favorite things about camp. Spending five days in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness (BWCA), one of the best canoeing areas in the whole country, with my friends and cabinmates is an experience that I will never forget. The beautiful cliffs of Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, the joy of river canoeing, the views of Lake Superior (and the temperature...brrrr, but who really cares after a long day of hard hiking?), the sights of Wisconsin's back-country roads, and the pristine waters of the BWCA are all things that I have enjoyed through Camp Nebagamon's tripping program. Learning to work with seven other campers canoeing in the wilderness is one thing that will always be with me."

"One of the best things about Camp Nebagamon is the strong friendships that are built here. I have been coming here since I finished 4th grade and the number of friends I have found here just keeps growing. This year, my cabin has been emailing each other on a weekly basis and the connection between us is only growing deeper."

"Over the four years I have attended so far, I have learned many skills that will be with me for my whole life. I have become a great canoer, a better artist, and developed more teamwork skills while at camp. I have also grown to enjoy the outdoors and care about the environment. Camp has taught me to take care of myself, be a part of a team, make choices, develop friendships, and of course send informative letters."
