Our Program

Although every day leads to all kinds of new adventures, the following is the typical camp schedule.

TIME WHAT HAPPENS?
8:00am WAKE-UP
Wake up to the ringing of our large locomotive bell and the sound of "Rise and Shine" being sung by our administrative staff.
8:30 BREAKFAST
Eat with your cabin group and hear announcements about the day's activities. All of our meals are served family style with one camper responsible for kitchen duty each meal. After breakfast, you will look at the project board and select which activities you want to attend that day.
9:30 CABIN CLEAN-UP
Clean up your cabin with the help of your cabinmates.
10:00 PROJECT PERIOD #1
Everyone heads off to the project areas they have chosen for the morning. At each project area, staff will be there to help you learn new skills and have fun!
11:00 PROJECT PERIOD #2
Attend another project you have chosen from the project board.
12:00pm FREE PERIOD
Once back in your village, you're free to play four-square, ping-pong, box hockey, tennis, or various other games we have in the village areas. You can also read a book, talk with friends, or even discuss politics with a chipmunk...it's your free time.
12:30 LUNCH
Eat!!
(After lunch) REST PERIOD
Enjoy reading, writing letters, conversation, resting, quiet games, etc.
2:30 PROJECT PERIOD #3
As in the morning, you will have the opportunity to attend any of the project activities listed on the project board.
3:30 PROJECT PERIOD #4
Attend another project you have chosen from the project board.
4:15 FREE PERIOD
Another free period to choose a village activity or spend some time with a book.
4:15-5:00 GENERAL SWIM (optional)
Swim with your friends, take out a playak, or cool off on our water slide.
6:00 DINNER
Eat again!! Announcements after dinner are always particularly fun as counselors "demonstrate" the options for the evening.
7:00 GABBERCOM
A time for meetings or a visit to the camp store.
7:30 EVENING ACTIVITY
The evening activity changes every night. Enjoy village activities, group athletics, GTC (Good Time Charlie, our talent show) or special activities planned by the project leaders.
9:00 END OF ACTIVITY
Get ready for bed, read, talk and plan for tomorrow.
9:30 or later TAPS
Bedtimes vary by Village. Drift to sleep listening to the sounds of crickets, the breeze in the pines, and thinking of tomorrow.
