There are a number of special events throughout the summer. Here is a description of a few of them. One of our hallmark events, Paul Bunyan Day, is a traditional event in which the camp is divided into four teams which compete in all sorts of events such as canoe tug of war, speedball, chess, and trivia. Another special event is Chef's cap, our annual outdoor cooking competition, where cabins try to prove their outdoor cooking skills by creating the best meal over an open fire. In addition, our campers have the opportunity to participate in a few tournaments such as The Northwoods Invitational, an annual tennis tournament with a few of our neighboring camps.
